I love photographing people. Whether I am acting onstage or working behind the lens making pictures, interacting with people is what animates me. Human relationship, interactive energy, aliveness, is what I am after. Clients often say “that was so much fun, thank you!” after making photos with me. I have acting techniques to assist even the most camera-reluctant enjoy their time with the lens. I am happily a multi-disciplinary artist, and enjoy working with actors and performers, but also professionals across a range of subjects and passions. I’ve published poems, made wine, acted professionally onstage, film, and national commercials, and lived in NYC for ten years before again calling the northwest home. I’m hungry to create.

Seattle session: $300
Up to two hours in various outdoor Seattle locations I scout and tailor for you.
3-4 “looks” (a look is an outfit change)
3 retouched headshots of your choice
INDOOR STUDIO Session: $425
Up to 2 hours at a large, light-filled, airy studio in central Seattle

Bainbridge Island Studio Session: $400
I live here! Pickup from ferry available, no additional cost.

I upload a viewing gallery with ALL THE IMAGES FROM THE SHOOT (minus the ones with your eyes closed!) within 7 days of the session (often faster), which you can share with friends, agents and peers. Once you have made your selections, I will send you the final retouched images, formatted for both print and web, that belong to you, forever. If you need your images expedited (in less than 24 hours), please let me know ahead of time, as there is a $50 added fee.
One "look" is an outfit or major hairstyle or facial hair change.
Retouching includes: smoothing skin, eliminating blemishes, brightening whites of eyes, and teeth, getting rid of stray hairs, color-correcting. I do not change hair color, color gray hairs, change backgrounds or clothing colors.
Each package includes a 15 min Zoom or FaceTime meeting once you’ve booked to discuss locations, your goals and desires, what to wear, and how to prepare.
I do spend time and care on retouches! Additional retouched, finished pictures are $30 per image.
Please show up as you would for an actually fun date with people you enjoy - looking like your best self, but not trying too hard! If you are someone who is comfortable doing your own make-up for auditions and/or in your real life, it's not necessary to pay extra for a makeup artist, but if it would be less stressful to have one, let me know, I am always happy to recommend make-up artists (they will charge their rate).
Photography gear and space is expensive, but I do offer limited need-based sliding scale sessions. I want everyone to have access to quality photos. Contact me and let’s see what we can do!
